No, but we strongly recommend that administrators and managers receive training so that they can show others within your organization how to use the tool. We believe you will find it to be very intuitive and easy to learn.

Once your trial ends, a Sprigg representative will contact you to get you started with a plan that suits your company’s needs. If at any time during the trial you would like to move forward, we’ll ensure your transition is seamless.

Our application is a multi-tenant design. This means that all clients access the service via a standard portal. All data is shared in the same database. All data stored by a client is scoped to that client and it is not possible for cross client data access.
At no point will we ever use your data for any purpose other than providing you the software you’ve subscribed to.
You can access Sprigg’s cloud-hosted performance management software through a standard web browser. These include Chrome, Firefox, Safari and new versions of Internet Explorer. Most popular desktop and mobile (iOS, Android, Blackberry) web browsers are also supported.

Our software utilizes 256-bit encryption for all connections when a user is logged in. In addition our robust password policy ensures that your users are not using common or easy to guess passwords.
Your application receives continuous software updates (both features and patches) by our development team. Updates are included in the price of your subscription. No action is required on the part of the client, as regular software update rollouts generally cause no downtime. If a software update is being rolled out that will cause downtime a notice will be sent out to all administrators. Updates that will cause downtime are generally scheduled for Friday evenings. Video training modules on updates are provided to Administrator or posted on User site (where applicable).
Database backups are completed daily encrypted and then stored at the secure Peer1 facility in Montreal.
Sprigg’s solutions are purely cloud-hosted and there is no install version.
Using Sprigg means that your company can have as many users as it needs. Our application is monitored 24/7 using a performance metrics service. If our servers reach a specific capacity percentage we’re able to add capacity with no interruption in service.
Our network uses a Sonicwall firewall and the only services exposed from our servers are web and a secure SSH connection for administration. All of our servers receive regular security updates.
You can get your data at any time with Sprigg. If you cancel your subscription to one of our software packages we will export your data into a suitable, readable format upon request.
It’s super easy and quick! A spreadsheet template can be provided on request to bulk import users. We require a first name, last name, email, job position and reporting managers email for a typical user. After user import we will provide login credentials for the entire account.
Both technical and non-technical support is provided from 5:00am-5:30pm Monday – Friday EST through our online helpdesk or by emailing [email protected]. Responses are generally within two-four hours. Support may also be provided outside of operational hours.
Our application is a Ruby on Rails application running on top of Linux, Apache and MySQL infrastructure.
Our servers are located in Peer1’s Toronto Hosting facility. This facility holds a CSAE 3416 Type II certification, and employs UPS and diesel backup generators to ensure security and availability.
